Congratulations! Ek Je Chhilo Raja Is Now Part Of IFFI’s Indian Panorama Selections In 2019
Ek Je Chhilo Raja will be screened at the ongoing International Film Festival of India at Goa. Srijit Mukherji’s directorial has received many big awards at film festivals and it was also a national award winner of this year. It has again added another feather in its hat. 

SVF entertainment took to Twitter to make an announcement, “That's what you call a moment of sheer pride! #EkJeChhiloRaja found its place on the list of Indian Panorama Selections at the 50th International Film Festival of India, Goa. #IFFI2019.”


The movie stars Jisshu Sengupta in the titular role of Maharaja Mahendra Kumar Chowdhury as well as the Bhawal sanyasi. The film also stars Jaya Ahsan, Aparna Sen, Anirban Bhattacharya, Anjan Dutt, Rudranil Ghosh, and Sreenanda Shankar. The movie was released in 2018.

The movie is all about Mahendra Kumar Choudhuri, the prince of the Bhawal Estate, is taken to Darjeeling for treatment by his relatives where he dies. Years later, a sanyasi shows up claiming to be the lost prince. And how he struggles to prove his identity?

Ek Je Chhilo Raja has bagged the prestigious National Film Award for Best Bengali Regional Film this year. The film received thumbs up from critics as well as fans. The film had done fabulous business everywhere.
Srijit Mukherji has even started shooting of his next thriller film Dwitiyo Purush starring Parambarta Chatterjee and Raima Sen in the lead role. The film is expected to release in 2020.
